  2. rooted my (i605 Note 2 Verizon) phone, but when I tried to install a custom ROM after it restarted it gave me a "unauthorized system installed …" so I tried these steps from this video it completes everything (with a successful message on Odin) but it still showing the "unauthorized system installed…" message. one thing I did see change was before on the download mode it had "Binary: Custom" now it shows "Binary: Official Verizon" any thoughts or ideas or even steps I should include or anything? I have a note 2 from Verizon (i605) it had 4.4.1 at the time so I used the correct file from SamMobile. just stomped. thank for any help.

  5. Wow…….worked like a charm. I lost SU binary and also couldn't update which was cool until my apps quit working. At a last attempt, I even did factory reset with no improvement. Then I found this tutorial with links included. IT WORKED !!!!! My note 2 Verizon is unbricked and updated to new software. Thank you !
FYI I had rooted using casual. Leaving stock for now unless you know who starts up again…lol
